Time: Shotgun Start 7:00pm

Place: Killarney West Golf Course, Meet at Clubhouse for Check-In

Structure: 4-Person Scramble

Timeline

• 6:00-6:30pm Arrive at KW and Pre-funk

  • Check in at table outside front of Clubhouse

    • One person can check in for whole team

    • Here you will receive a team bag, which will include your glow balls (1 per person + 1 extra), starting hole number, scorecard, glow bracelets, and other goodies.

  • VOTE!! Hang out and place your votes for the Costume Contest!! (We will tally the votes at 8pm, so if you need a little more time to decide you can vote when you pass the clubhouse before 8pm.)

• 6:45 -Take a GROUP PHOTO

• 6:50pm -Walk to starting hole

• 7:00pm -Shotgun (Blow Horn) will sound and Team A can tee off!

• 9:00-9:30pm (When everyone is done)- Announce Winners of Tournament and Costume Contest Winners!!

  • There will be prizes for 1st (includes trophy for each team member), 2nd , and 3rd place teams

  • There will be prizes for each Costume Category Winners! The Categories are:

    • Scariest Costume

    • Funniest Costume

    • Favorite Group Costume

    • Golfer's Choice Costume (Your Favorite)

  • There will also be prizes for the KP and Longest Drive Winners

• Hole 1 - Basic Scramble

• Hole 2 - Basic Scramble with Pumpkin Patch on green (your team must dodge the pumpkins to get to the hole!)

• Hole 3 - Basic Scramble with KP

• Hole 4 - Basic Scramble

• Hole 5 - Basic Scramble

• Hole 6 - Basic Scramble with Longest Drive

• Hole 7 - Basic Scramble with KP

• Hole 8 - Basic Scramble with Graveyard on green (like Hole #2, dodge gravestones to get to hole!)

• Hole 9 - Basic Scramble

• Clubhouse - Pumpkin Chipping! Each team members gets a turn to chip into carved pumpkins! Each ball made in a pumpkin, subtracts a point from score!!

Frequently Asked Questions

1. What if I lose my glow ball?

   1. Each group will receive 1 ball for each player + 1 spare ball for the team

      -Example: Group of 4 will receive 5 glow balls

   2. Extra balls can be purchased, the night of the tournament, on the beverage cart or at the clubhouse for $10 each

2. How do the glow balls work?

   1. The glow balls are LED and light up when they are struck. The ball will stay lit for 8 minutes and then go out (be sure to get to your ball before the 8 minutes, so you do not lose it!). If the ball is struck while still lit, the timer will restart for the 8 minutes.

3. Can I rent a cart?

   1. NO. Night Golf tournaments are WALKING ONLY.

4. Will the beverage cart be on the course?

   1. YES! The beverage cart will be out on the course, but staying at the 6th tee box (not driving around).

5. Is this tournament a Scramble?

   1. YES! The tournament is a scramble.

   2. Definition of a SCRAMBLE: In a “Scramble” format the players or designated team captain decide after each shot which one the best shot is. Each player on the team plays their next shot from that spot; within one club length no closer to the hole. The group then plays this way until the ball is holed out. The group takes a score at the end of each hole based on the single best shots from each position on that hole.

6. Is it a shotgun start?

   1. YES! Each team will be assigned a hole to start on. There will be two teams on each hole, labeled Team A and Team B. Team A will tee off first and then, when out of hitting range, Team B will tee off.

      1. Example: Team 3A -Will start at hole 3 and tee off first.

7. How many teams are in the tournament?

   1. There are 18 teams of 4 in the tournament.

8. Is the tournament SOLD OUT?

   1. Not yet! But, it is close! If the tournament sells out, we will start a waitlist in case a team decides they can not play.

9. Do I have to wear a costume?

   1. A costume is not required to play, but is HIGHLY ENCOURAGED! Be creative, have fun, and get a chance to win an awesome prize!!

Regular Course Rules

• For the liability of the course, ABSOLUTELY NO OUTSIDE ALCOHOL is allowed. We want to be able to continue to do these tournaments and stay open by complying with the rules and regulations of the OLCC. If you or anyone on your team is seen with outside alcohol, you will be asked to leave with NO REFUND. Please be courteous and respectful to the course and your fellow teammates.
